💥 Alleged airstrikes and heavy artillery target civilians in Kler Lwee Htoo District ☑️ Shwegyin, Bago 12 February On 12 February, 2026, the Myanmar Air Force (MAF) reportedly conducted an airstrike on Pyin Yae Village in Shwegyin Township, Bago Region, according to the the Kachin National Union. The group stated that a fighter jet dropped a 300lb bomb and that a gyrocopter was also involved in the incident. This incident reportedly resulted in the destruction of two houses and one village school. Additionally, one cow and one horse were killed, and four other livestock were injured. Sources report that the Myanmar Military has been continuously committing airstrikes and heavy artillery attacks impacting civilian areas in the Kler Lwee Htoo District between the 9 February and 15 February 2026. By utilising Google Earth satellite imagery and conducting an analysis of social media footage, Myanmar Witness investigators were able to confirm the location of a reported damage school in Pyin Yae Village Source link in reply.
