On 8 February 2026, in Kan Gyi village (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike with a paramotor from the No. 22 Defense Industry Factory (KaPaSa-22) and dropped three bombs around 11:00 AM. During the airstrike, an 80-year-old woman from the village was killed, and two other women-aged 70 and 40-were severely injured. 1 fatality.
