On 8 February 2026, armed individuals suspected of being youth from the Murle community clashed with cattle herders from the Bor Dinka community in Kit area, Lokiliri Payam (location coded to Lokiliri, the nearest known location in Juba County, Central Equatoria State), resulting in 3 fatalities.
