On 7 February 2026, clashes took place between police forces and locals whom are the family of a 12 years-old child who got physically assaulted by a police member in Ghasm town in Dara countryside, followed by raids against several houses carried out by police forces searching for nearly 17 people accused of being involved in the incident. Casualties unknown.
