On 7 February 2026, SPLM/A-IO members targeted an SSPDF position, resulting in a clash in the Sue area, Li-Rangu/Ri-Rangu Payam (Yambio, Western Equatoria). The opposition members retreated toward Li-Rangu while SSPDF reinforcements were dispatched from Nzara. 1 source noted that shooting was heard in Sue, Zambasende, Mamboi and Nambia areas, leading to the displacement of an unspecified number of people. Casualties unknown.
