Amir Bashiri Chalkasari, a 19-year-old Kurdish citizen, was killed on January 8, 1404, during popular protests in Rasht, near the tomb of Dana Ali, by the military-security forces of the Islamic Republic, who shot him with a live bullet in the head. The security agencies pressured the family to hand over the body, forcing them to declare that their son had been a member of the Basij.
