SAA event in Iran, Islamic Republic of on Tue 6th January 2026

#Ismail_Abbasi, 43, was injured by the military-security forces of the Islamic Republic on January 17, 1404, during the #public_protests of the Bazaarians in the Dieselabad neighborhood of #Kermanshah, by firing 18 lead bullets from the back and hitting the head. After being hospitalized for a week in the intensive care unit of Taleghani Hospital in this city, he died of his injuries on January 14, 2021. The funeral was held on the same day in the village of "Tape Afshar" in Kermanshah. According to information received, in addition to forcing the family of Ismail Abbasi to remain silent, government institutions pressured them to introduce him as a "Basij", but the family refused to accept this demand. He was a father of two children and worked in a heavy vehicle upholstery shop.
