On 6 February 2026, near Mar Ran village (coded as Mar Ran Nawt) (Kawthoung township, Kawthoung district, Tanintharyi region), the People's Defense Force - Kawthoung (PaKaPha) conducted drone strikes and dropped 2 bombs on a column of about 170 Myanmar military soldiers at around 8:30 pm. 6 military soldiers were injured.
