Around 6 February 2026 (as reported), in Padaung township (Pyay district, Bago-West region), fighting broke out between the Myanmar military and a combined force of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) and allies near the No.16 Defense Industry of the Myanmar military. The Myanmar military also conducted airstrikes using J-12 jets and paramotors as well as drone strikes. The ULA/AA captured 5 outposts of the Myanmar military. Casualties unknown.
