On 17 June, 2019, an SVBIED detonated by an unidentified armed group in Quamishli in eastern al-Hasakeh countryside near the Asayish General Center in the city. The suicide bomber was not able to enter the Asayish security square and detonated on its perimeter as a result. An unknown number of Asayish members were killed and wounded along with the injury of 7 civilians. Unknown fatalities coded as 10. Total fatalities coded to 11 to account for the suicide operative.
