On 6 February 2026, Israeli warplanes struck a residential building in the Al Askouleh area in Gaza - Az Zaytun (Gaza City, Gaza Strip), casualties unknown. Israeli drones also dropped bombs on residential homes in the same location, casualties unknown. The IDF claimed that the building and the area targeted were Hamas infrastructure, including a weapons manufacturing site and a storage facility. This event occurred in a divided area of the Yellow Line and the exact side is unclear.
