On 6 February 2026, As-Sweida National Guard fighters targeted residential areas in Mazra'a town, in rural As Sweida city with mortar shelling, in rural As Sweida, leading police forces to respond to the source of fire and to clashes between both. During the clashes, the National Guard fighters shot down an armed drone belonging to police. Casualties unknown.
