On 6 February 2026, Iraqi army F-16, supported by the Directorate of Military Intelligence, conducted airstrikes destroying two ISIL hideouts near Hatra city (Ninewa). The DMI had tracked four militants and a concealed car in the desert sites over several days. The militants were killed in the airstrike and their equipment was destroyed. Fatalities coded as 4.
