On 4 February 2026, SAF fighter drones targeted SFA (coded as RSF and SPLM-N-Abdelaziz), while SFA responded with anti-aircraft fire in Abu Zabad (Abu Zabad, West Kordofan) and As Sunut (coded separately). SFA shot down a fighter drone. SAF killed 70 SFA and destroyed 15 military vehicles. Fatalities split over two locations and coded as 35 for this event.
