On 3 February 2026, in Gyo village (Ngazun township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military troops stationed in Myothar police station fired heavy weapons two times around 11:03 am without an armed clash occurring which fell and exploded into houses and killed a 14-year-old girl. A 50-year-old woman was injured and sent to the Mandalay General Hospital. A house was also destroyed. Locals were forced to flee in fear of the military troops advancing. 1 fatality.
