On 3 February 2026, in El Salto, Jalisco, armed men shot at municipal police in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zuniga, leading to a chase that ended in Colonia La Alameda, El Salto. Personnel from the State Attorney General's Office participated in the operation causing the injury of one agent. Two armed men were killed. They belonged to an armed group that had engaged in a previous clash in El Salto on 11 November 2025 (coded separately). 2 fatalities, 1 injured.
