SAA event in Balochistan, Pakistan on Sat 31st January 2026

On 31 January 2026, BLA militants attacked Khaliq Shaheed Police Station in Quetta city (Quetta, Balochistan), in a series of coordinated gun and bomb attacks across Balochistan province during BLA's 'Operation HEROF Phase-II'. Military forces conducted retaliatory operations targeting militants, resulting in an intense clash, killing 125 people, including 92 militants, 18 civilians, and 15 security personnel, on 31 January 2026. Of which, 53 fatalities have been coded to specific events. 72 remaining fatalities, that occurred during clashes between security forces and militants, split across 13 events. 6 fatalities coded to this event.
