On 28 January 2026, in Padaung township (Pyay district, Bago-West region), the combined troops of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) and allies attacked and captured the Myanmar military point 666 outpost hill where around 300 Myanmar military soldiers were stationed around 5:40 pm. During the armed clash, the military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs and fired heavy weapons. The Arakan Army and allies found the bodies of military soldiers and seized many weapons and ammunition. There were an unspecified number of fatalities. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3.
