Two Yangon-based urban guerrilla groups attacked the patrol checkpoint of No. (6) Police Battalion in Shwe Pyi Thar Township, Yangon Region, yesterday (February 12 at 8:30 p.m.) using a hand grenade, sources report.

Of the three checkpoints at No. (6) Police Battalion on 4th Street Main Road in Shwe Pyi Thar, No. (1) checkpoint was targeted, Mother Son Yangon Force spokesperson Bo Naing told Mizzima.
