On 25 January 2026, in Salingyi town (Salingyi township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Salingyi Revolution Army, the Salingyi Generation-Z People's Defense Force, the Chindwin Dynamite, the Solo Aung Gyi People's Defense Force and the Chindwin Defense Force attacked the Myoma police station, the General Administration Department office and Tawa Timsa monastery where about 160 military soldiers were stationed from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The combined force fired heavy weapons and conducted drone strikes during the armed clash. A military soldier was killed and 3 others died the next day from the sustained injuries. 4 fatalities.
