On 24 December 2019, Russian warplanes carried out airstrikes on Jobas village in Idleb. Several strikes targeted the village's middle school, which houses displaced civilians, killing 10 people, including 6 children and 2 women, and wounding several other people. The airstrikes partially destroyed the school building and damaged its furniture
