A junta airstrike on a school in Nyaung Pin Gyi Su Village, Khan U Township, Sagaing Region, killed three civilians after two bombs were dropped on the site, according to a local resistance source.

At around 10:22 p.m. on February 17, a military aircraft carried out two consecutive bombing runs on the village school, even though no fighting was taking place in the area. The school had been serving as a temporary medical centre, providing care for patients and those in need of close medical attention. The airstrike killed three patients who were receiving treatment at the time.
