Residents from Tanintharyi Region reported that the military carried out airstrikes on Taung Khaung Laung Village in Pulaw Township, while similar attacks destroyed homes in Kyain Chaung Village, Than Taung Township, in Bago Region.

According to locals, at around 5:30 a.m. on February 17, intense clashes broke out between junta forces and resistance groups near Taung Khaung Laung Village, Pulaw Township. As fighting escalated, the military conducted continuous airstrikes in the area, forcing civilians to flee for safety.
