Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 | 6 attacks claimed by JNIM in 72 hours. On February 14, 15, and 16, Burkina Faso was the scene of at least six attacks claimed by JNIM, targeting military positions and local support forces in several regions of the country.

🔶 February 14 – Titao (Loroum region) According to the group's claim, its fighters, divided into three separate units, attacked and looted a military camp. Weapons, ammunition, and vehicles were reportedly seized. The market and several shops were burned, supply trucks destroyed, and communications sabotaged.

🔴 The death toll is estimated at between 50 and 80, mostly among the security forces, according to local sources. Three military vehicles were reportedly captured, and several others destroyed, including an armored vehicle.

🔶 February 14 (6 p.m.) – Komadougou (Fada N'Gourma region) JNIM claims to have temporarily taken control of the village.

🔴 Several dozen forest rangers were reportedly killed—up to 60 according to some local sources—as well as two civilians. Weapons, motorcycles, and livestock were allegedly taken, while sheds were burned.

🔶 February 15 (morning) – Koumbri (Yatenga) The group claims to have seized a military barracks.

🔶 February 15 (evening) – Kogo (Koulpélogo) A military post was reportedly taken by the attackers, according to the group's claim of responsibility.

🔶 February 15 – Naré, near Boussouma (Boulgou) JNIM also claims to have taken control of a military post in the area.

🔶 February 16 – Dio (Yatenga) The VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland) camp was reportedly destroyed by heavily armed fighters. Shops and buildings were set on fire. Despite repeated official announcements about the reconquest of the territory, these simultaneous attacks demonstrate the terrorist group's continued operational capability.
