SAA event in Mexico on Sat 14th February 2026

In the early hours of Saturday, February 14, 2026. coinciding with Valentine's Day, gunmen carried out a targeted shooting outside the "Sala de Despecho" bar in Puebla's upscale Angelópolis area (Isla de Angelópolis, near Avenida Osa Mayor and La Estrella de Puebla). The attack, described by authorities as a premeditated operation planned at least a month in advance, targeted individuals exiting the venue, including occupants of a white Mercedes-Benz SUV. It resulted in three fatalities (two men and one woman) and four to five people injured by gunfire, some in serious condition and transferred to nearby hospitals. State security forces responded quickly, leading to the detention of four alleged perpetrators shortly after the incident.
