According to a revolutionary news source, a man was killed by indiscriminate shelling from a military column returning after delivering supplies to Borda village military base on the Paung Kaung-Ut Thint expressway in Bago Region.

The news source described that on February 12, a military column of about 100 troops with one supply truck departed from Chansai checkpoint in Paung Kaung Township and after delivering supplies to Borda base on the return fired indiscriminately with small arms.
