On February 9, the Army arrested listed terrorist Ghalib Imtiaz alias Nahid and two associates identified as Rabiul Islam alias Babu alias Machine Babu (31) and Masud Rana Alvi alias 'Shooter' Masud, with 3 foreign pistols, 13 domestic weapons, various types of ammunition, and other weapons in operation in the Taltala area of ??Chapain Road in Savar of Dhaka, reports Prothom Alo. Lieutenant Colonel Nazim Ahmed said, "Such operations will continue to keep the upcoming elections fair and peaceful. A strict stance will always be maintained against all forms of terrorism and armed men to maintain a fair environment for the elections."
