Benin 🇧🇯 | On the morning of February 10th, several dozen JNIM terrorists attacked the village of Bagou-Bagou along National Route 11, southeast of Kérou (Atacora). The casualty figures are still uncertain, but the damage is significant.

🔸 The security forces quickly deployed to the area. The population that had fled has returned to the village.

🔹 The north is a target for JNIM terrorists, who use the forests and national parks to move around and hide. 🔸 Recently, several police stations were targeted by terrorists, notably in the commune of Gogonou (Alibori) at the end of January.

⚠️ The reinforcement of Operation "Mirador" has, however, made it possible to neutralize and repel the terrorists and destroy their logistics.
