One person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a shooting in the far West Valley on Sunday, authorities said. Deputies responded to a shooting call in the Tonopah area near 438th Avenue and Indian School around 5 p.m. and found four gunshot victims, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

One adult was pronounced dead at the scene, and three others — an adult and two juveniles — were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said there were no outstanding suspects or threats to the community. Authorities have not released any information about what led to the gunfire. The investigation is ongoing.
