In Pakokku Township, Magway Region, the military carried out repeated airstrikes on Chekkan village without any fighting, killing 10 civilians and wounding many others.

Between about 10:49 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. on February 10, four fighter jets from Magway Air Base bombed the village in multiple strikes. At least 10 villagers were killed, and many were injured; some of the wounded are in critical condition, so the death toll may still rise.
