In Phakant, Kachin State, where heavy fighting continues, artillery shells landed in civilian areas, injuring three residents, a local man told Shwe Phee Myay.

As of today, February 7, clashes between junta forces and KIA-allied troops have remained intense. One artillery shell exploded on a noodle shop in the Ma Shi Ka Taung neighborhood, wounding a woman.

Around 10 a.m. the same day, another shell struck a house in the Kalat Kone area, injuring a man and a woman, the local source said.
