On the Myanmar side of the India–Myanmar border, in Kyetharauk village, Pansaung Township, on 1 February the Indian military used a drone to drop a bomb, destroying a field hut but causing no human casualties, according to local residents.

Although the Indian army claims it was targeting armed groups that are attacking them, locals in the Naga area say the drones are actually dropping bombs on places in Myanmar where civilians are present.
