Today (4 February 2026), the military council carried out a second airstrike in Hpakant.

A Y-12 aircraft from Tandaunggyi took off and circled in the Hpakant sky for over an hour starting from 11:40 a.m., and dropped no fewer than ten bombs from the air around the area near Sutong Hill on the side of Thonebo Village behind Mashika Hill ward, where intense clashes are taking place between the military council and resistance forces.
