Air Delivered event in Lebanon on Thu 5th February 2026

Several underground Hezbollah weapon storage sites were hit in a wave of Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon, the IDF says. According to the IDF, the targeted tunnel shafts were located at Hezbollah sites in the Marjaayoun area of southern Lebanon, near Baalbek in the eastern Beqaa Valley, and in the Hermel area of northern Lebanon. The military says that in recent months it had identified Hezbollah activity at the sites, which it says "constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon." After the strikes, the military says "secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons in the area."
