The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in its fight against the Communist Party of India–Maoist (CPI-Maoist), dismantled a suspected arms and explosives manufacturing unit in the dense forests of Palaguda along the Sukma–Bijapur border in Sukma District of the Bastar division in Chhattisgarh on January 25, reports Telangana Today. Acting on precise intelligence inputs, CRPF teams raided the forests of Palaguda and uncovered two large dumps concealed at separate locations, believed to have been used for manufacturing weapons and explosives, Police officials said. Large quantities of materials used in the manufacture of arms and explosives were seized, marking a decisive blow to insurgent infrastructure in the region.
