Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Belgrade area, Serbia on Tue 3rd February 2026

Shortly after police arrested a group of individuals suspected of racketeering, an explosive device was detonated at the same restaurant where the arrests took place.  The explosion caused property damage to the restaurant, while no injuries were reported. The perpetrators of the bombing remain unknown, and police are investigating whether the attack was an act of retaliation for the arrests, an attempt to intimidate the restaurant owner, or a warning to other businesses in the area. The investigation is also exploring potential links between the bombing and the organized crime group, as the arrested racketeers were allegedly associated with the clan.
