On 22 January 2026, in Wetlet township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military troops from LIB-12 based in Kyauk Myaung town conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs with suicide drones on the villages in the eastern part of the township. Casualties unknown.
