On 21 January 2026, unidentified assailants (coded as TTP) hurled a hand grenade at the residence of a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing in Shamozai area (Swat, KPK). The minister was not present at the time. The explosion caused minor damage to the boundary wall. There were no casualties.
