On 20 January 2026, 'southern' forces (coded as IRG generic forces + Giants Brigades) clashed with Houthi forces and 'thwarted their infiltration attempt' in west of Al Fakhir (Qaatabah, Ad Dali). The southern forces later targeted Houthi gathering and equipment using tank shells. Casualties unknown.
