On 16 January 2026, near Pauk Taw village (Sagaing township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Shwebo District Battalion - 17 Company - 4 (Acid Column), the People's Warriors Special Guerrilla Force, the Gun Star Youth Guerrilla Force, the People's Security Force - Minkun area, and local people's defense forces intercepted and attacked the Myanmar military troops that advanced from Sagaing town in five vehicles as reinforcement as local PDF troops attacked the military outpost in Pauk Taw village (coded separately). Two vehicles were destroyed. Casualties unknown.
