Around 16 January 2026 (as reported), in Chin Pyit Khon village (Kawlin township, Kawlin district, Sagaing region), fighting broke out between the Myanmar military column from LIB-111 and LIB-120 and local people's defense forces in the morning near a market. 3 members of the local PDF were killed. Khit Thit Media reported that the armed clash happened on 16 January while Myanmar Now reported that it was on 17 January. 3 fatalities.
