On 16 January 2026, near Kyoet Kone village (coded as Ah Shey Kyoet Kone) (Paukkhaung township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Pyay District (Battalion-2 Company-3) and the Shwedaung People's Defense Force (PaKaPha) attacked 35 Myanmar military troops travelling from the Paukkhaung football stadium to the Taung Lel Tower Taing camp at about 4:15 am. 5 military troops were killed. 5 fatalities.
