On 16 January 2026, in the Kuwait vereda (El Retorno, Guaviare), approximately 100 members of the Isaias Carvajal and Jhon Linares FARC dissident structures infiltrated a camp of the Bloque Movil Martin Villa FARC structure, where around 40 combatants were resting. It is suspected that some managed to flee, while 26 others surrendered after being promised that their lives would be spared. The promise was a trick, and the rounded-up Martin Villa FARC dissidents were disarmed and shot in the back of the head. Four of the deceased were minors. The investigations are ongoing. 26 fatalities.
