On 15 January 2026, near Aung Tha Pyay village (Ye township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), the joint force of Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF) and Ye People's Defense Force (YPDF) intercepted and attacked the Myanmar military column with 200 soldiers around 10:00 am. During the clash, 3 military soldiers were killed, 6 soldiers were injured and 1 MSRF member was injured. 3 fatalities.
