On 15 January 2026, near Min village (Kamma township, Thayet district, Magway region), People's Defense Force - Thayet District Battalion 4 intercepted and attacked a column of over 100 soldiers, advanced from the Yae Nan Thar police outpost around 3:00 pm. During the attack, 7 military soldiers were killed. 7 fatalities.
