On 15 January 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes targeting two buildings in Sohmor town (West Bekaa, Bekaa). A nearby school was damaged in the attack. There were no casualties. The airstrikes came after multiple warning raids and evacuation warnings by the IDF. The IDF said it targeted military infrastructure for Hezbollah.
