On 15 January 2026, in Port-au-Prince, Ouest, members of the Viv Ansanm Gang attacked a group of police officers on patrol as they secured the removal of debris and barricades set up by armed men along the Magloire-Ambroise street (which crosses multiple neighborhoods like Champs de Mars, Bas Peu de Chose or Lelio). The police engaged in clashes with the armed attackers. No casualties were registered. There were no casualties.
