On 15 January 2026, in Crato (Ceara), military police officers exchanged fire with six drug traffickers in the Pantanal neighbourhood. The suspects were in a vehicle and on a motorcycle. Two of them had just attacked a family (coded separately). During the clash, four suspects were shot and killed. Two others were arrested. 4 fatalities.
