On 15 January 2026, clashes between SAF backed by Al Baraa Ibn Malik Brigade, and SFA (coded as RSF and SPLM-N-Abdelaziz) continued in Habila (Habila, South Kordofan). SAF stormed the area and withdrew later. Both sides claimed they had inflicted losses on the other side's lives and equipment. Al Baraa Ibn Malik Brigade commander was killed.
