On 15 January 2026, Twirwaneho clashed against FARDC supported by Wazalendo and FDNB at Point Zero (Itombwe, Mwenga, Sud-Kivu). Twirwaneho released a communique saying the governmental coalition launched the attack and that it comprised a ground assault and drone strikes. Twirwaneho said they took down a FARDC drone. Casualties unknown.
